Premium 24" x 1/2" Hand-Split Resawn Shakes (Mediums)
Product Description
These shakes have split faces and sawn backs. Cedar logs are first cut into desired lengths. Blanks or boards of proper thickness are split and then run diagonally through a bandsaw to produce two tapered shakes from each blank. Available in Premium Grade or Number 1 Grade.

80% edgegrain, 20% flatgrain (max)
Roof Exposure: 10"
Wall Exposure: 18" - Premium Grade, 10" - No.1 Grade
Recomended Use: Walls & roofs with a 4:12 pitch or steeper.
